The
Stifel Killington Cup
returns to Vermont’s Superstar trail from November 30 to December 1, 2024, bringing the thrill of world-class alpine racing to the Northeast. Since its debut in 2016, this iconic event has drawn fans from across the globe, marking a historic comeback for FIS Ski World Cup racing in the eastern U.S. after a 25-year hiatus. This year, more than 40,000 fans are expected to gather to cheer on the world’s top female ski racers as they compete in slalom and giant slalom.
Killington’s Superstar trail provides the ultimate challenge, stretching 4,800 feet with a vertical drop of 1,200 feet and pitches as steep as 50 degrees. Preparing the course demands over 15 million gallons of water and countless hours of expert effort. Safety remains a top priority, with five kilometers of fencing ensuring secure race conditions. U.S. ski racing fans need stamina—and not just to attend races in person. To stream 2024-25 World Cup ski races, fans will need to navigate three different streaming services. Why? Because each country owns its television rights and sells them to a broadcaster of choice.
Domestic World Cups
Outside TV is also stepping in, offering free—yes, FREE!—live coverage of the Killington, Beaver Creek, and Sun Valley World Cups. For on-demand access, Outside+ subscribers ($89.99/year) can watch these races anytime.
U.S. Ski & Snowboard sells the rights to domestic events to NBC. This means domestic World Cups—Killington, Beaver Creek, and Sun Valley this year—can be streamed live and on-demand via Peacock ($79.99 + tax per year, or $7.99/month). NBC and/or CNBC will also air live and delayed coverage of these events, available through a cable provider or YouTubeTV.

oic Killington Cup kicks off of on Saturday, Nov. 26 with a women’s World Cup giant slalom, followed by a women’s World Cup slalom on Sunday, Nov. 27. It’s official: the annual Killington World Cup is a go, and in T-minus two days we’ll get to see the world’s best women technical races kick out of the start gate atop Killington’s Superstar course and give it their all in front of one of the biggest crowds on the World Cup circuit.
All eyes will be on American Mikaela Shiffrin, the best slalom racer of all time who started off her 2023 World Cup season with a double slalom victory in Levi, Finland last weekend. But Shiffrin won’t be the only American to watch in Killington.
