World deaf curling championships 2025
China wins two golds, one bronze at World Deaf Curling Championships 2025
Chinese competitors delivered an outstanding performance at the recent World Deaf Curling Championships in the United States, claiming gold medals in both the men's and women's team events and taking bronze in the mixed doubles competition.
The championships ran from April 22 to May 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, attracting more than 120 athletes and coaches from 11 countries. Organized by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), the tournament consisted of group stages, semi-finals, and finals, with three gold medals up for grabs along with qualification points for the Winter Deaflympics.
The Chinese athletes not only gained valuable international experience but also showcased their determination and resilience on the world stage. The team will further enhance its training and recovery systems in preparation for the 2026 Winter Deaflympics.
