Undergraduate Courses
There are obvious connections between the two disciplines of Economics and Management. This course allows students to develop their understanding of both fields, and to appreciate the links between the two.
Students will study issues of fundamental importance for the real world, such as how the economy and organisations work, how to best think about the allocation of resources and how to coordinate individuals' actions, be it at the firm level or across the economy. Economics and Management are ideal intellectual partners, each particularly fitted to strengthen and cross-fertilise the other. The course provides an excellent preparation for a range of careers in banking and finance, consultancy, research, journalism, industry, the Civil Service and teaching as well as a wide range of other sectors.
