World latency high wow
High World Latency, Low Home

Angelsword,
That pathping is actually normal. Those 100% packet losses you're seeing when it hits the ATT network are expected.
Thorgarth,
The traceroute you posted looks normal. In the future, if you have an issue you would like addressed, it's better to start your own thread rather than jump into someone else's and start bumping theirs.
For everyone here with lag-related issues, please ensure that you have fully followed each and every one of the steps below. Any one of these steps has the potential to fix your problem:

Extremely high World Latency
Autist-malfurion1
I usually sit at about 20ms on both, but ever since the maintenance yesterday (5/28/24), I have been having terrible world latency, to the point where I cannot do dungeons or raids or anything successfully.
I have restarted my modem, router, and computer just to make sure that isn’t the issue. I am not having any latency on any other games except WoW. Nobody else that I have asked is having the same issue.
Is anyone on here having the same issue? Or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

Per the sticky posts
Connection, Installation, or Voice Chat problems include this as well:
Some Pingplotter tests to the server group you’re playing on. If you can’t log into the game, just run the test for 5 minutes while having login issues. Otherwise, run these tests while the problem is actively happening. If you catch a disconnection or latency issue with the test, it will make it easier for us to find the problem.

Notice the 1% packet loss starting with Blizzard? Yeah, I once read a blue post saying that 1% packet loss is detrimental to games like these… and yet, the GM that I talked to says, just ignore it, that 1% means nothing to user game experience… NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
Quite literally, all i get is deflectio
High world latency
Same here. It also might be relevant to note that I am from and have this issue on EU. My NA connection ironically is stable and fine and ALWAYS has been during that entire time.
Had this issue back in December, lasted until about April.
Coincidentally, around April the portugese (?) forum post about it that got major traction reported (or rather one player reported) that Blizzard was reached, apparently via phone by a player, specifically the division in charge of this network stuff.
Taking that with a heavy grain of salt, the issue was acknowledged to be on their end, then and they were “slow to respond” - which given other Threads of similar reports I dug up, is reasonable, as Blues and MVPs generally stated that if this was on their end, more people would be affected.
Whenever this specific latency issue crops up as a long term problem for players,
it only seems to affect what in the grander scheme would be a fraction of each Community
(Overall or EU/NA/etc, however you want to view it).
Usually people were from all over (except for the portugese case) and have the problem on all kinds of connection types, ISPs - etc. - the only commonality i
