ABOUT JIM'S MOTORS
Committed to providing the best trailer sales and services.
Jim Cape started Jim’s Motors as a used car dealer in 1957 and has since made many different changes over the years. We added W-W trailers in 1972 and still sell them today along with Exiss, Elite, Sooner, Bison, Big Tex and Kodiak trailers. In 1998 we decided to focus more on our trailer business and expand in to the living quarters trailers so we eliminated the cars and trucks. Jim’s Motors now has one of the largest trailer inventories of horse, cattle and utility trailers in the country. You can see us at many of the different shows through out the mid west including state fairs, rodeos, trail rides, mule rides, cattle shows, horse shows and at the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
Scott Cape is the youngest of Jim’s three sons which joined in the family business in 1985 and has been a part of the many changes that have taken place over the years and being the major factor of growing the trailer business to where it is today.

LYONS — The Lyons Chamber of Commerce has named Jim’s Trailer World at 7785 Route 31 as its Business of the Month.
Jim and Nick Desando established Jim’s Trailer World in 2005. It’s a family-owned and -operated business. Although it started as a part-time business, it has now grown to a full-time operation employing four.
Jim’s Trailer World is a full-service shop offering sales of new and used trailers and accessories. It offers snowmobile trailers, dump trailers, landscape/utility trailers, car haulers, and equipment trailers. Jim’s also provides trailer hitch installation and wiring for the vehicle.
Jim’s Trailer World has a full supply of trailer parts, tires and rims, along with car and truck tires. It also has truck accessories, such as truck caps, step bars, bed covers and much more. In addition, Jim’s offers RV supplies, accessories and repair service. The Lyons business also inspects and repairs trailers or motorcycles.
A dozen trailers are available for renting, too.
