World's Biggest TV is a Custom-Made, $1.6 Million 370-Inch Monster


A British company has created the world's biggest TV, leapfrogging the previous champ by almost 20
feet
. The Zeus, from Titan Screens, measures a full 370 inches diagonally — and costs well over a million bucks.

The number doesn't give an adequate estimation of the screen's size, though. Think about it this way: picture an elephant. Then picture another elephant standing next to that one. Then picture two
more
elephants balanced on those elephants' backs. That's about the size we're talking about.

Of course, there's no factory in the world that can pump out elephant-sized TVs. Titan puts each one together by hand — on site. "Our technology is designed around inter-connecting panels," explained Anthony Ganjou, Titan's CEO, in an email to NBC News."Every install we do is different, as these do not fit in most rooms."

The Titan Zeus is a 370in, £1 million TV




British screen manufacturer Titan has unveiled the Zeus TV, one of the largest and most expensive TVs available to buy. It measures a hefty 370 inches – almost the size of a football goal – and costs a cool £1million.

For such a large sum, you'd expect the Zeus to support 4K technology, and thankfully, Titan has delivered. The Zeus has 65 billion colours and weighs in at nearly a tonne.

Titan says only four Zeus screens will be made, with two having already been pre-sold: one to a British media millionaire, and the other to be built on top of a hotel in Cannes.

For an extra fee, Titan will install your TV and deliver it in a custom built Hummer.

Titan also manufacturers bespoke "mid-range TVs", selling 173 inch sets for just £150,000...

Titan CEO, Anthony Ganjou, said: "We have assembled the best screen technologists in the country to hand build a British-made screen which would not only be the biggest but the most the extraordinary ever conceived."

For those wishing for a TV the size of their living room wall, look no further than the Titan Zeus, a whopping 370-inch TV that costs $1.6 million.

The Titan Zeus has the largest dimensions we've ever seen, measuring 32 by 15 feet. The Zeus is designed for indoor or outdoor use, but to view it properly, you'd have to be about 50 feet away to optimize your enjoyment of the Titan Zeus. Thankfully, it's a 4K display, meaning it has around four times the amount of pixels compared to a traditional 1080P HD TV.

London-based manufacturer Titan first entered the TV industry in 2013 when Microsoft's Xbox team wanted "the most beautiful gaming screen ever." Since the introduction of its Zeus TV, Titan has sold only one Titan Zeus to a private customer. Titan recently told Engadget that the individual would prefer confidentiality.

TV manufacturers are always trying to outdo each other, building ever-larger television displays in a bid to get one over their rivals. Well, beat this mother of all TVs.

Introducing the appropriately-named Titan Zeus, a TV so massive that one struggles to find the right words to describe it. Whopping just doesn’t cut it. Gargantuan perhaps? Or how about this – imagine a house, and then imagine a telly so big you can’t even fit the damn thing inside it – that’s about the most fitting description we can think of for this unearthly beast of a display.

The Titan Zeus has the largest dimension we’ve ever seen on a TV, measuring a ridiculous 370 inches diagonally, which makes it around three-to-four times the size of the largest televisions that the likes of Samsung and LG have ever dared to build.

Truly, the Titan Zeus is in a class of its own. It weighs a ton too, and that’s not surprising when it’s so damn big you would barely miss any of the action even if an elephant was standing in your way. Naturally, it’s got 4K ultra high-definition (UHD) resolution too – although sadly with the World Cup only being aired in boring old Full HD (publicly anyway), footy fans will just have
