World of warcraft merge accounts

Merge wow accounts possible?

Sanitar-silvermoon1

Returned to wow after a couple years off… and bought the wow classic heroic upgrade on an old starter edition account that I created and never really used.

now I want to buy Dragonflight and use my old characters from my main account… but dont want to pay two sub fees.

Is there anyway to merge these two wow accounts? All I really want from the one account is the boosted character I purchased. Is it just a matter of opening a ticket and waiting?

is the only way to do this… by opening a ticket?

EDIT - I was wrong in part - Classic chars can’t be moved to another license or BNet account.
You only want to move one character? This is easy. You don’t even need a GM.

As long as your two Bnet accounts are both in the same legal name, you can use a paid transfer to move the char from one license to the other license on the other Bnet account. Any mounts, pets, h

Merging 2 battle.net accounts together?

#0 - June 9, 2009, 3:26 a.m.

This morning I had to merge my wow account into a new battle.net account after recovering from an account hijack. In my haste to get the recovery completed I made a new battle.net account not realizing that I had already created one and added all my other blizzard games to it, Diablo 2, WC3, and SC. So now I have 2 battle.net accounts, and I'm wondering if there is any way I can merge the 2 together?

Thanks

Currently there is no system to merge different Battle.net accounts together. If your new Battle.net account is only currently home to your World of Warcraft account our Billing & Account Services department phone representatives may be able to help.

You will need to speak with them directly, however, if you explain the situation and verify both Battle.net accounts it may be possible to get your World of Warcraft account removed from the new Battle.net account and put on to your existing Battle.net account that has all your other game licenses.

Merge battlenet accounts?

#1 - Sept. 23, 2010, 1:46 p.m.

Well, you can merge between 2 Battle.net accounts, although if one is newer, there is a 30 day wait.

That is of course presuming they are both under your name.

Billing could also help with this. You can have up to 8 WoW accounts on a single Battle.net account.

Can't merge accounts anymore?

wotlk classic on my original account

Just to keep the terminology straight, if the mounts you’re referring to on your original account that is 10+ years old, that isn’t classic - that was still just Retail.

Now, you can make use of those mounts still - so long as you understand that it is only for Retail and retail alone - and that is if you transfer characters from the newer account one by one to your original account. Mind you, you will lose any account-wide unlocks from your second account to be able to use those mounts. You will have to decide which means most to you, in that instance.

One thing you should always keep in mind is that just because X was possible for some stretch, does not mean that is always going to be the case. Account “merges” never were true merges. It was choosing one account over the other, really. Things didn’t just sandwich together neatly. They never did. But rather than creating an entirely new account under the assumption you’d be able to sandwich everything together - it was misguided, I’m sorry to say.

But you still do have options. Retail characters are transferrable between accounts, so long as you
