The Sullivan County Youth Fair is offered annually in conjunction with the Grahamsville Little World's Fair, the third weekend of August. Dozens of volunteers and CCE staff spend many hours pulling together hundreds of exhibits, factoring scheduling and space options, navigating animal and biosafety issues, coordinating and orienting volunteers and activities for the public, processing local, state, and Ag & Markets paperwork, soliciting donations, training 4-H’ers in preparation for shows, and a number of other tasks to make fair a safe, fun, learning experience for our youth.
This event is hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension. CCE of is part of the Cooperative Extension land grant system, an educational partnership between county, state, and federal governments that is administered in New York State through Cornell University.

Grahamsville's annual 'Little World's Fair' returns for 145th year
GRAHAMSVILLE, N.Y. -- It's fair season across the state and Sullivan County residents are celebrating the 145th anniversary of "Little World's Fair" in Grahamsville. Every year, attendees get a taste of food, rides, local vendors and the county's agriculture.
Patrick Coombe manages his family's beef farm and said he's looking forward to volunteering at the fair this year.
“There’s lot of animals here, which is always good," Coombe said. "There’s lots of vendors down in the midway...and it just brings something for the whole community to rally around."
Whether you're into petting livestock or learning about some of the Cornell University sustainable efforts, Little World's Fair has something for everyone.
"[There's] dairy cows, we've got beef cows, we got goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, [etc.]," Coombe said. "You're able to pet them as long as you talk to the owners first. Do not go up to any of the animals by yourself. That is a safety hazard for you and the animal."
Aside from the petting area, organizations like The Sullivan County 4-H Youth
