Tokyo Disneyland has unveiled the third instalment of its “Disney Palpalooza” campaign: “
Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World
,” inspired by Disney’s
Wreck-It Ralph
! Transforming Tokyo Disneyland into a candy world imagined by Vanellope, the special event follows the successful Minnie’s Funderland and Donald’s Quacky Duck City limited-time events presented throughout the year.



Featuring limited-time entertainment, merchandise and food and drink, Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World will take place at Tokyo Disneyland from
January 15th to March 16th, 2025

Decorations

Tokyo Disneyland will be transformed into a colourful Candyland as imagined by Vanellope for the limited-time event. Upon entering Tokyo Disneyland, guests will be greeted by the classic Mickey Mouse flowerbed featuring a candy theme, with pastel candy-themed banners welcoming guests.



World Bazaar transformed with candy-themed decor, with its tall columns wrapped in pink-and-white stripes with dripping “icing” and colourful sprinkles. A large, dessert-inspired photo spot featuring Vanellope will be a highly popular photo spot throughout the event.

Everything You Need To Know About This Super Sweet Event

Tokyo Disneyland has transformed into a kingdom of sweets. From January 15 to March 16, the park will be covered in a treat-themed overlay as part of the new Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World event. This is the third installment of the Pal-Palooza campaign, following the popular Minnie’s Funderland and Donald’s Quacky Duck City celebrations last year. This time, Vanellope von Schweetz from
Wreck It Ralph
is taking over with new entertainment, photo spots, exclusive merchandise, menus and more. 







Entertainment

Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World comes with a new candy-themed parade titled “It’s a Sweetsful Time!” This 35-minute parade runs once a day and features a variety of characters including the Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, and of course, Vanellope herself. Mickey and friends are also featured wearing new costumes with various sweets motifs.

Guests have the option to purchase Disney Premier Access passes for priority seating at an extra cost. The priority viewing areas are located in front of Plaza Garden and in front of Maurice’s Cottage. Guests with Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Pac


Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan will celebrate Vanellope von Schweetz from “Wreck-It Ralph” and her love of all things sugar during an event called Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World from Jan. 15 – March 16, 2025.

The campaign is the third installment in the Disney Pal-Palooza event series, during which a Disney character takes over the resort, infusing their distinct personality and style into the parks and hotels. Disney announced Vanellope’s event on Nov. 11, 2024 and shared additional information on Dec. 4.





Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World will include a new parade, candy-themed décor, special merchandise, themed menu items, and a Vanellope hotel room takeover.

Additionally, guests who approach cast members in World Bazaar or the central hub of Tokyo Disneyland and say “Happy Pal-Palooza!” will receive free candy.





























The event’s parade, titled “It’s a Sweetsful Time!,” will feature Vanellope on a candy castle float, Mickey in a rock band with instruments made of candy, and Minnie and Daisy as tour guides at a candy art gallery. “It’s a Sweetsful Time!” will also star
