Loot Spec question

I play Affliction, I have always played Affliction & I now have/have always had, my loot spec set to Affliction.
But EVERY piece of gear I have (I’m 120 & 449ilvl) sims better as Demo or Destro.
Shouldn’t my gear be best for Aff??
Pawn shows that for ALL my gear Demo is best then Destro then AFF.
Anyone clarify why this is the case.

This is because that’s not how loot spec works. You will end up looting the same gear as a Warlock regardless of your loot spec because of the fact that loot spec only takes into account main stat and weapon proficiency.
For instance the only thing different that loot spec changes for Frost DKs and Unholy DKs can loot is their weapons. If your loot spec is in Unholy you will loot 2H weapons and if it’s in Frost you’ll loot 1H weapons.

Would like some more information. What are the stats on the gear you are getting? If it’s haste gear then that really is best for all 3 specs (more so Dest than Demo, but either/or). If it’s crit it should be more Dest but again Demo does benefit from crit for demon abilities. Mast
